Spotify takes aim at ad blockers

Spotify released yesterday its financial results for 2018 and along with that updated its Terms and Conditions. The new rules say "circumventing or blocking advertisement in the Spotify Service, or creating distributing tools to block advertisements" will lead to termination or suspension of the account. According to a report from last year, around 2 percent of free Spotify users use apps or accounts that disable the ads between the songs.
