Teva warns on 2018 profit, may face migraine drug delays

By Tova Cohen and Steven Scheer TEL AVIV (Reuters) - Teva Pharmaceutical Industries on Thursday said its 2018 results would be weaker than expected and that it might encounter delays for an important new migraine drug, pushing the drugmaker's shares down more than 9 percent. Israel-based Teva, the world's largest generic drugmaker, is facing price erosion, fierce competition for its blockbuster multiple sclerosis drug Copaxone and a consolidating customer base, particularly in the United States. It also said that the approval and launch of its migraine drug fremanezumab, one of two drugs the company pegged to help return it to growth in the future, could be delayed by an FDA warning letter received by manufacturer Celltrion, which will supply the drug to Teva. from Yahoo News - Latest News & Headlines http://ift.tt/2C5LBti via Latest News

Samsung DeX Pad render leaks with a new design, drops Ethernet port

Image
Evan Blass has a very solid track record with leaked renders, particularly with Samsung devices in the past. Today, @evleaks tweeted a couple of renders of the newly designed desktop docking station, updated in time for the release of the Samsung Galaxy S9. The new dock, supposedly called the "DeX Pad" is different from its predecessor in a few ways. The round area that the Galaxy S8 was supported in an upright position is no more. The new design will dock the S9 in a flat position to make it easier to use the phone's display as a touch pad. Earlier today we told you that Samsung is finally releasing the update to Android 8.0 for the Galaxy S8 and S8+, and it's pretty late to the Oreo party at this point. Still, that's quite an achievement compared to the Motorola Droid Maxx 2 for Verizon. This particular handset is now receiving an update to Android 7.0 Nougat.
