Democratic Turnout Surged In Texas. Here's What That Could Mean For November.

Image
Since President Donald Trump’s inauguration, Democrats have performed better than expected in many special elections, turning out voters who didn’t show up in past years and giving many in the party high hopes for this year’s midterms. An Australian woman happened upon what experts believe is the oldest message in a bottle ever found, dating back to 1886. Four people seriously injured in Vienna knife attacks

Image
Four people were seriously injured in two knife attacks in one district of the Austrian capital Vienna on Wednesday evening but any motive or connection between the assaults was unclear, a police spokesman said. The stabbings - the first of which took place at 6.45pm (GMT), occurred in Vienna's Second District, which includes the famous Prater park as well as the Praterstern transport hub. It also houses much of Vienna's small Jewish community. "A man attacked a family - a father, a mother and their 17-year-old daughter - with a knife. The three people were seriously injured and their lives are in danger," the spokesman said. "And half an hour later there was another attack ... at Praterstern and here a person was also seriously injured and their life is in danger. We do not know to what extent there is a connection here and any motive remains unclear," he said. The United States will give more than $533 million in humanitarian aid for victims of conflicts and drought in Ethiopia, Somalia, South Sudan and the West and Central African countries bordering Lake Chad, U.S. Secretary of State Rex Tillerson said on Tuesday. Tillerson made the announcement at a speech in Virginia before departing for a week-long trip to several African countries. The updates are rolling out in several markets, including India, the UK, Germany, Mexico, and Greece. Others in the list include Bangladesh, Malaysia, Hungary, the Philippines, Sri Lanka, and Tunisia. As is usually the case with OTA roll outs, it may take time for the update to hit your device, so be patient. Via from GSMArena.com - Latest articles http://ift.tt/2G9leX7 via IFTTT

You can access the new functionality by heading to the three dot menu in the app, tapping the new 'Export' option, and then selecting any of the three available options, including Video, GIF, and Still photo. Huawei P20, P20 Lite, and P20 Pro press renders leak

Image
Ahead of Huawei's grand unveiling event that takes place on March 27, Evan Blass (better known as @evleaks) has decided to give the company's entire P20 family the leaked press render treatment. The images show iPhone X-inspired screen notches on all three models. The P20 and P20 Lite get dual rear cameras, while the P20 Pro will have the much rumored (and teased) triple shooter setup on its back. Huawei P20 Pro All of the phones' rear cameras are aligned vertically on the left, a move that once again seems inspired by Apple's latest top of the line smartphone. The notched screen a la iPhone X is the latest trend (don't call it a fad) in the Android world, one which has been picking up steam disturbingly fast. And according to a new leak, the upcoming OnePlus 6 will go with the flow and come with a notch of its own. This development was first revealed in a leaked live image from last month, which also tells us that it will be incredibly hard to tell the OnePlus 6 and the Oppo R15 apart. It's simple: Google isn't brining Android P to its earlier devices, including the Huawei-made Nexus 6P, the LG-made Nexus 5X, and the Pixel C tablet. Today Google has outed the first Developer Preview of Android P. You can install this on a Pixel smartphone if you flash a system image, but you should only do that if you're a developer wanting to test your app against the upcoming release (or aren't using your main phone). That's because Google counts Android P DP1 as an alpha, which means many things may break and you're bound to encounter loads of bugs.
