Apple's New Mac Pro Is Powerful, Pretty, and Expensive - WIRED

Sadly, this news was soon overshadowed by the insanely powerful new Mac Pro. Pity the unfaithful who gave up on the long-neglected previous version of the Mac Pro and bought the recently upgraded iMac instead, because Apple has finally created Mac Pro worthy of the name. Microsoft saved Minecraft Earth's AR gameplay reveal for Apple - Engadget

Microsoft saved Minecraft Earth's AR gameplay reveal for Apple    Engadget One thing missing from Microsoft's Minecraft Earth announcement? Actual gameplay. Strangely enough, it looks like Microsoft saved that honor for Apple, as it just debuted the first live footage of the game at the company's WWDC keynote. To recap, Minecraft Earth is a mobile augmented reality title similar to Pokemon Go. At the keynote, we watched as Mojang employees tweaked a blocky castle on a tabletop using iPhones and iPads. Then, they stepped into a life-sized version, where they were able to unearth a mine (and baddies) beneath their feet. The AR tracking was impressive, allowing both ... China vice minister says U.S. overestimates trade deficit

Chinese Vice Commerce Minister Wang Shouwen said on Sunday the United States overestimates the trade deficit between the two countries and China should not be blamed for job losses in the U.S. manufacturing sector. Wang told a news conference the U.S. goods and services deficit with China is actually closer to $150 billion and not the $410 billion quoted by U.S. officials. China's processing trade with the United States should not be included in trade deficit calculations, he added. from Yahoo News - Latest News & Headlines https://yhoo.it/2Z4J8ef via Latest News

U.S. regulators say some Boeing 737 MAX planes may have faulty parts

Image
The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration on Sunday disclosed a new problem involving Boeing Co's grounded 737 MAX, saying that more than 300 of that troubled plane and the prior generation 737 may contain improperly manufactured parts and that the agency will require these parts to be quickly replaced. The FAA said up to 148 of the part known as a leading-edge slat track that were manufactured by a Boeing supplier are affected, covering 179 MAX and 133 NG aircraft worldwide. Apple touts privacy in web sign-on war with Facebook, Google

Image
Apple Inc on Monday launched a "Sign In With Apple" function to rival Facebook and Google web login accounts, drawing a contrast with rivals by stressing protection of users' information. When users sign in with their Google or Facebook Inc profiles to third-party apps, the apps often share valuable data with Google and Facebook, a practice that Apple is looking to stop. Apple announced the move at its annual software developer conference in San Jose, California, where it also showed new features for its operating systems for iPhones, iPads and Macs and said it would retire the iTunes app after 18 years in favour of separate apps for music, movies and podcasts. from Yahoo News - Latest News & Headlines https://yhoo.it/2XpjiRN via Latest News
