Tucker Carlson: ‘For All His Faults’ Putin Doesn’t Hate America as Much as Chuck Todd Does

Image
Days after Fox News host Tucker Carlson claimed he was “joking” after saying he was rooting for Russia against Ukraine, the conservative primetime star began his Monday night show by claiming Russian President Vladimir Putin doesn’t hate America as much as some American journalists, such as NBC News’ Chuck Todd.Carlson would then follow up his Putin-friendly remarks by essentially doubling-down on the same comments he walked back last week, claiming he was opposed to Russian sanctions while saying the U.S. “should probably take the side of Russia if we have to choose between Russia and Ukraine.”Taking aim at Todd for accusing Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) of making the same arguments as Putin by claiming Ukraine “actively worked” for Hillary Clinton’s campaign, Carlson insisted that “Russia didn’t hack our democracy” and that Russian election interference wasn’t “really a story.”“The whole thing was a talking point—a ludicrous talking point—invented by the Hillary Clinton campaign on or aro

Kamala Harris Ends Presidential Bid as Poll Numbers Collapse

(Bloomberg) -- Kamala Harris suspended her presidential campaign on Tuesday after months of declining poll numbers and dwindling funds as she struggled to define her candidacy.“In good faith, I can’t tell you, my supporters and volunteers, that I have a path forward if I don’t believe I do,” Harris said in an email to supporters. “My campaign for president simply doesn’t have the financial resources we need to continue.”https://t.co/92Hk7DHHbR— Kamala Harris (@KamalaHarris) December 3, 2019 Harris has struggled to gain traction in the polls after a brief high that sent her to second place in numerous polls after the first Democratic debate in June. Her campaign failed to catch on as she was unable to define herself ideologically and explain to voters what she stood for. A series of evolving slogans and campaign messages since the spring left voters unsure of what her convictions were. After trying to repeat her attacks on Biden in subsequent debates, Harris took a nosedive in polls and

Nunes Sues CNN over Allegation He Met with Fired Ukrainian Prosecutor Victor Shokin

Image
Ranking House intelligence Committee Republican Devin Nunes filed a $435 million lawsuit on Tuesday against “the mother of fake news” CNN over a November 22 report, which alleged that disgraced Giuliani associate Lev Parnas is willing to tell impeachment investigators that Nunes dug up dirt on Joe Biden with former Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin during a 2018 meeting in Vienna.“CNN is eroding the fabric of America, proselytizing, sowing distrust and disharmony. It must be held accountable,” Nunes alleges in the suit, and claims that the article “intentionally falsified” key facts. Nunes says he never visited Austria last year, cites a Washington Post piece in which a source close to Shokin denies the meeting took place, and denies any contact with Parnas over the trip.“From all the evidence in its possession, CNN was well-aware that Parnas was a renowned liar, a fraudster, a hustler, an opportunist with delusions of grandeur, a man in financial in extremis,” Nunes’s lawsuit adds.Ea
