Apple apologizes over FaceTime security flaw, will re-enable group chats next week

A major security flaw with Group FaceTime was discovered just a few days ago and Apple had to shut down the Group FaceTime feature while working on a fix. The company has now issued an apology for the inconvenience and promised to bring the patched feature back next week. In the statement, Apple says that it has sorted things out server-side and next week the company will seed a software update to re-enable FaceTime Group.
