Samsung Galaxy A9 Pro (2016) gets Oreo two months ahead of schedule

Back in the summer, Samsung said some devices that are over two years old will receive the Android Oreo update, starting December with the Galaxy J7 Neo, followed by over ten phones in January 2019. One of the devices on that list was the Galaxy A9 Pro (2016), but it turns out some units in Vietnam are already receiving the new OS. The OTA package is 2.09 GB in size, which might be troublesome for users that are already nearing their 32 GB storage capacity.
