Huawei receives patent for gaming smartwatch

Huawei has received a patent for a gaming smartwatch, a listing with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) revealed. The application initially filed in December 2017, is following earlier patents with the Chinese Intellectual Office from 2015 and 2016 for further development of the technology. The patent allows the smartwatch to be operated via the watch strap, enabling multiple gestures for gaming features like steering a car's wheel or going in different directions in first-person shooters.
