Canalys: Samsung ships 8 million Galaxy S9 phones in one month

Samsung launched the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ at MWC in February, and the phone started hitting store shelves mid-March. A month later 8 million units of the new flagship series have been shipped, matching the numbers Galaxy S8 posted same time last year. The estimate numbers were published by analyst company Canalys which predicts stronger performance for this year's duo compared to its predecessors.
