Huawei Freebuds Pro earphones review

Image
Huawei introduced the Freebuds Pro earlier this month as the company's most premium true wireless earphones and they are already on sale at some markets. We got a pair from Huawei to spend a few weeks with and review all the new features, including the active noise cancellation. Design and comfort Unlike its Freebuds 3 earphones that followed the Apple AirPods' design, the Freebuds Pro provide a fresh take at what TWS should look like. Yet, the boxy "stem" was as much design as it was an engineering decision as Huawei crammed a lot of hardware inside to enable all of the "Pro"... from GSMArena.com - Latest articles https://ift.tt/3j857M2 via IFTTT

OnePlus 8T price leaks, you won't like it

Image
OnePlus has officially confirmed that it's announcing the 8T at an online event on October 14, just as was rumored (and then revealed by Amazon India). Multiple sources have so far claimed that there won't be a OnePlus 8T Pro this year, just the 8T, so with that in mind you may be wondering how much it's going to cost. And to that, all we can say is - OnePlus has done it again. At least according to a tipster over on Twitter, the OnePlus 8T will be exactly $100 or €100 more expensive than the OnePlus 8 was when it launched. You guys choose it, I will do it. So here's my "ExClUsIvE"... from GSMArena.com - Latest articles https://ift.tt/2HbUtWj via IFTTT

The Oppo Find X2 Pro is the most underrated flagship of the year

Image
To say that 2020 has been all sorts of weird so far would be an understatement, but phone makers left and right have continued to churn out new devices at what seems like breakneck speed. We’ve seen a ton of flagships already, and most of those are excellent. And yet, the prices have crept up continuously, so a lot of them are quite expensive. However, if the amount that a proper top of the line device commands nowadays isn’t an issue for you, the question remains - which is the one to buy? That’s complicated, but if you are (or will be) looking for a new flagship smartphone to call your... from GSMArena.com - Latest articles https://ift.tt/2RGKs5y via IFTTT

Huawei Watch GT2 Pro review

Image
Introduction Huawei has become a staple of smartwatch with a rapidly growing roster of GT and Honor Magic watches that have great build quality, battery life and deliver great value for money. We loved the Huawei Watch GT2 for its responsive interface, great build quality and advanced set of features. The Huawei Watch GT2 Pro retains the internals, but is made with a much more premium selection of materials. Its borderless dial is made of sapphire crystal isntead of the traditional glass, the watch case is Titanium and the watch plate, which rests on your wrist is ceramic. Google's Android TV stick leaks again in official looking images

Image
Google's event on September 30 won't all be just about the Pixel 5 and Pixel 4a 5G, as we're also expecting a new Nest smart speaker to make an appearance, as well as the long leaked Android TV streaming stick/dongle codenamed Sabrina. Think of this like an Android TV box, but in dongle form. Or a Chromecast dongle that runs Android TV. And comes with a remote control, and access to the full suite of Android TV apps, of course. Here are some newly outed official-looking images of it. Google's HDMI stick with remote By the way, according to the source of this leak, Google will... from GSMArena.com - Latest articles https://ift.tt/3iNEPP4 via IFTTT

Spotify doesn't like Apple One

Image
Apple One was officially announced today - it's a bundle of Apple's various subscription services, and it starts at $14.95 per month. This entry-level tier includes Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, 50GB of iCloud storage, and, most importantly - Apple Music. The launch really isn't sitting well at all with Spotify, as the Apple Music competitor saw it fit to issue the following statement less than an hour after Apple's event ended: Once again, Apple is using its dominant position and unfair practices to disadvantage competitors and deprive consumers by favoring its own services. More evidence of Apple’s folding iPhone appears

Image
With the successful launch of Samsung’s folding smartphones in 2020 with the Z Fold2 and Z Flip (along with a kind of messy launch in 2019 with the original Galaxy Fold), other companies are pressured to come up with a device that might have some folding element to it. Rumors as early as 2017 have suggested that Apple has been working on an iPhone device with a folding form factor. The latest evidence comes from leakster Ice Universe and if it is to be believed, Apple is apparently in talks with Samsung Display for foldable screen samples and “hopes to exclusively supply the amount for one... from GSMArena.com - Latest articles https://ift.tt/35tV8wD via IFTTT

Huawei to lose LG and Samsung as display suppliers

Image
The September 15 deadline is looking increasingly dreary for Huawei – the company’s display supply line will shrink in addition to being cut off from TSMC’s chip foundries. Reuters reports (quoting a Korean media) that Samsung Display and LG Display are expected to stop shipments to the embattled smartphone company, due to the tightening trade restrictions from the US. The chips used to drive the displays are reportedly affected by the US sanctions, which is the reason to stop shipments. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 in for review

Image
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 is official and better yet, it's here at HQ and in our hands. And to say that it got us all excited might be an understatement. Before we move to handling the phone, let's take a gander at the retail package. The first-gen Galaxy Fold came in a resplendent package with a two-piece plastic case with a carbon-fiber-like finish as well as a set of Galaxy Buds truly wireless earbuds. The Galaxy Z Fold2 comes with a rather poor by comparison set of accessories - a 25W charger, wired USB-C AKG earbuds, USB-C cable and some leaflets. No case, no TWS buds. Future AirPods might drop the force detection sensors for touch sensors

Image
According to a series of filed patents, Apple's future AirPods could come with simple touch sensors instead of force detection for control. The documents reason that this would provide an improved control with a wider variety of gestures. For example, the touch sensors will be able to recognize gestures like swipes for volume control. No more squeezing or strong taps to control your music or answering calls. The simple touch sensors work in a totally different way.
